About the Event

Monthly Wisdom is available to ALL students, parents and educators.   Join us for this month's topic, "The Power of Uniqueness and Belonging"

Diversity is about more than visible differences, and it’s essential to success in an increasingly complex world. Choose inclusion to innovate and learn what diversity can do for your success. This March Wisdom event is specially created to inspire students, parents, and educators to have a collective focus and curiosity on The Power of Uniqueness and Belonging.

1. Nate Rouse, Director of Equity, Race & Cultural Diversity Initiatives at Barrington D220 will focus on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” and help cultivate an open-minded approach to solving problems.

2. Jessica Green, Co-Founder and Co-Host of A Year of Courageous Conversations will discuss the “Courageous Conversations and the Importance of Community in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion”.

3. Eric Calvert, Associate Director of the Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University will share his insights on “Nurturing Gifted Cyborgs” focusing on the interaction of our use of technology and talent development that addresses the importance of students finding supportive communities that align with their interests.
