The countdown to Microsoft STEM Event 2022 is on! Tour the Microsoft Corporate Office, experience Microsoft Technology Center, connect with STEM leaders, explore coding concepts, discover connections to Computer Science that impact all areas of life, explore space inspired STEM with Quest 4 Excellence who partners with NASA and Space Tango, and learn from Microsoft technology experts – plus, you won’t want to miss our special keynote presentation and panel discussion to lean into various STEM career journey stories and the fun Microsoft SWAG!
BCGT is excited to partner with Microsoft, Quest 4 Excellence, Excellerate Studio, MehtA+, and The Tech Unicorn to offer a full-day STEM event for our middle and high school students.
STEM Event for Middle Schoolers will provide:
- In-person STEM learning experience to discover connections to Computer Science that impact all areas of life at Microsoft Chicago Corporate Campus
- Opportunity to explore creative STEM careers with tech leaders from Microsoft including Minecraft Head of Services and Operations Engineering and CEO of Quest Institute
- Robotics workshop to build and engineer robots with Excellerate Studio
- International Space Station Quester: Science Experiment to learn all things about space, gravity, experimenting and uploading to spaceship, and get results back
- Microsoft SWAG
- Food & refreshments
STEM Event for High Schoolers will provide:
- In-person STEM learning experience to discover connections to Computer Science that impact all areas of life at Microsoft Chicago Corporate Campus
- Opportunity to explore creative STEM careers with tech leaders from Microsoft including Minecraft Head of Services and Operations Engineering and CEO of Quest Institute
- AI in Visual Arts workshop to explore the application of AI to various fields such as drawing, painting, fashion, sculpture, film, etc. and apply what they learned and create and curate their own AI + Art Galleries in groups with MehtA+
- Microsoft Technology Centers that deliver immersive industry experiences and deep technical engagement with Microsoft senior architect to help our students understand the art of the possible
- Career Planning Session with tech leaders from Microsoft
- International Space Station Quester: Science Experiment to learn all things about space, gravity, experimenting and uploading to spaceship, and get results back
- Microsoft SWAG
- Food & refreshments
