SUPPORTING GIFTED STUDENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN BARRINGTON 220

Explore. Advocate. Thrive.

    Every child’s potential deserves to be nurtured. For more than two decades, the Barrington Council for the Gifted and Talented (BCGT) has partnered with parents, educators, and the community to enhance the Extended Services program in Barrington District 220. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are dedicated to supporting gifted learners, their families, and faculty by serving as both a resource and an advocate.

     Through BCGT, students and families gain more than academic opportunities. We foster growth, connection, and inspiration. Our programs and resources help students:

  • Build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors who share their interests.

  • Develop resilience and confidence to navigate challenges.

  • Cultivate a love of learning that lasts a lifetime.

  • Explore passions that lead to future career paths and achievements.

  • Celebrate their unique strengths while enjoying a vibrant, supportive community. 

 

At BCGT, we believe talent development is a journey. Together, we ensure that gifted students in Barrington 220 have the opportunities, support and inspiration they need to thrive.
