Every child’s potential deserves to be nurtured. For more than two decades, the Barrington Council for the Gifted and Talented (BCGT) has partnered with parents, educators, and the community to strengthen the Extended Services program in Barrington District 220. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we are committed to supporting gifted learners, their families, and faculty by serving as both a resource and an advocate.

Through BCGT, students and families benefit from far more than academic opportunities—we foster growth, connection, and inspiration. Our programs and resources help students:

• Build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors who share their interests

• Develop resilience and confidence to navigate challenges

• Cultivate a lifelong love of learning

• Explore passions that lead to future career paths and achievements

• Celebrate their unique strengths within a vibrant, supportive community
